Tsumiki No Ie

Tsumiki No Ie from lennie small on Vimeo . "Tsumiki No Ie" is the sad and beautiful winner of the 2009 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. I know, I'm very late. I didn't know about it until children's author Trevor Kew sent it to me yesterday. Thank you, Trevor! And oh! This short film has a picture book adaptation published by Hakusensha, Inc. Must be gorgeous. Enjoy!
